PROJECTS

Our consultants have worked in the US on several major assignments, in the Far-East on several banking programmes, in India on a major IT web-enabled programme and numerous assignments all over the UK & Europe. Below are some of the assignments that we have worked on over the past few years.
Some people dream of success. We make it happen.
Barclays

One of our consultants was asked to lead on a programme which was part of the Barclays Bank for

Entrepreneurs initiative. This was aimed at guiding small business start-ups through the stages of

setting up a business, working in partnership with various government bodies including the Cabinet

Office, HMRC, and Companies House, to develop a solution providing a registration process to

create a profile/KYC, and electronically register for taxes with HMRC, incorporate a company

through Companies House and a streamlined Barclays Business online account opening journey

using information already gathered in the informational stages of the process, thereby reducing

time and cost in processing thousands of new accounts.
Friends Life

One of our consultants had to re-establish a programme management office on a 120m programme

which was responsible for the delivery of a major business change programme (Solvency II) within

the Resolution Insurance Group of companies (which consists of the following organisations Friends

Provident, AXA and BUPA). Our consultant had to implement the correct governance framework, the

supporting processes, procedures and standards for the various boards as well as all the Solvency II

components which consisted of Pillar 1, Pillar 2, IMAP, Business Applications, IT Systems and

Finance Accounting and Reporting for the introduction of Solvency II

British Telecom.

Working with British Telecom on a major joint venture with the well-known FMCG Company Unilever,

one of our consultants was responsible for the management a multi-million pound migration of all the

telecoms services from existing country suppliers to British Telecom throughout the whole of Europe.

This involved the movement of all data, fixed and mobile services as well as data centres and

network components including all legal negotiations and novation’s, maintenance agreements, new

equipment and all software and hardware upgrades. This resulted in a cost saving of some £50m

over a 4 year period.

Home Office

We have worked with this client on 4 different occasions. On one assignment, for the introduction of
the UK’s 1st biometric ID card for Non-EEA nationals,  one of our consultants took over as the project was months behind schedule as the previous manager had resigned 6 weeks before the pilot was due to be implemented. Our consultant re-focused the team, implemented the pilot on time, then went on to implement the full UK wide solution on the agreed date which consisted of major business change for the management, control and movement of all Non-EEA nationals entering the UK
